Description:
Mastery of skills equals excellence. Our elite coaches begin with professional-grade conditioning exercises while reinforcing life skills through sports. This camp develops technical and tactical skills in youth ages 9-15 so they can perform at their best. Designed for the serious player, this camp teaches baseball skills through fast-paced drills, skill-building exercises, and game-speed scrimmages. Expert coaches focus on the essential skills of the game --fielding, catching, throwing, hitting, and base running to enable young athletes to play with confidence. Emphasis is placed on mastering the rules and etiquette of the game through constant participation. Athletes will showcase their increased proficiency in an end-of-the-week tournament.



Ability:

The advanced ability level is designed for the serious player well on the way to becoming a professional-grade athlete. These mastery-level camps are taught through fast-paced drills, skill-building exercises, and game-speed scrimmages in a competitive environment. Emphasis is placed on mastering the rules and etiquette. The player needs to have a good understanding of the game and its skills. Previous participation in a Skyhawks Sports Develop camp, Refine camp or playing more than 2 years in a league or club should suffice.



Included With Purchase:

White T-shirt and merit award. New For 2009. Shirts must be ordered by size at www.skyhawks.com in advance of a Skyhawks Sports camp. Shirts will be distributed Thursday at the end of camp.

9:10 AM Introduce Skill of the Day (SOD)
9:20 AM Develop skills
